Thomas Dwight Connor, 85, and his wife of 33 years, Jeri Lynn Ambrosio, 73, both of Denver, Colorado, passed away in 2025, just six months apart. Dwight passed on January 18, and Jeri followed on August 6. Their bond in life was mirrored in the closeness of their passing.
Dwight was born on November 5, 1939, in North Dakota. He retired from the National Conference of State Legislatures, where he was respected for his dedication and professionalism. A lifelong Denver Broncos fan, he rarely missed a game and also found joy in woodworking, a craft that reflected his patience and attention to detail.
Jeri was born on June 23, 1952, in Denver, the second child of Bill and Anne (†2013) Thomas. She also built her career at the National Conference of State Legislatures, where she and Dwight first met. In their early years together, they enjoyed traveling, gardening, and home projects. Later, their greatest joy was found in their role as devoted grandparents.
Dwight and Jeri are survived by her father, Bill Thomas; her sister, Teri (Gordon) Swanson; her brother, Billy Thomas; their children, Jeff Connor, Beth Lang, and Joseph Ambrosio; and their beloved grandchildren, Connor, Jayden, Shannon, Frank, and Roman.
They will be remembered for their love of family, their devotion to one another, and the warmth they brought to all who knew them.
A joint service and burial will be held at Fairmount Cemetery, 430 S Quebec St, Denver, Colorado, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 1:45 p.m. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Thomas Dwight Connor & Jeri Lynn Ambrosio, please visit our floral store.
