Joan Cahenzli, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, in Saddle River, New Jersey, at the age of 90. Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Joan was the beloved daughter of Theodore De Noble and Marjorie Lozier. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Judith Abate.
Joan is survived by her devoted children: Deb Brynoff, Chris Cahenzli, and Mike Cahenzli; her cherished grandchildren: Jill Sanger, Lara Belcher, Lesli Olivas, Amanda Brynoff, and Nick Brynoff; and her five adored great-grandchildren: Emily, Reese, Ryan, Benjamin, and Samuel.
Joan spent four decades in Aurora, Colorado, where she worked as a secretary for a major defense company. She was known for her dedication, integrity, and warm spirit-respected by colleagues and loved by all who knew her.
Family was the heart of Joan's life. She treasured holiday gatherings, especially when she could share her delicious Italian cooking. Her passions included travel, home decorating, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
Joan's legacy of love, warmth, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
A service will be held at the Little Ivy Chapel at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, Colorado, at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 10, 2025, with burial to follow. Flowers may be sent to the Fairmount Funeral Parlor at 430 South Quebec Street, Denver, CO, by 8:00 AM on the day of the service.
She will be dearly missed.
