Thomas "Tom" Erskine

Thomas ErskineSaginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday July 16, 2022 at the age of 74 years. Thomas was born May 22, 1948 in Saginaw, the son of the late Ernest and Cora (Papst) Erskine. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Tom retired from the Saginaw County Road Commission following many years of service. He was a member of the Hemlock Merrill VFW post 7302. He was an avid golfer and bird hunter; in Tom's younger years he had a love for sports especially Softball. Surviving are his three sons: Jeff Erskine, Chris Erskine and Jeremy (Tiffany) Erskine; two grand children; Logan and Kennedy Erskine; two brothers and two sisters: Ernie (Diane) Erskine, Alan Erskine, Pat (Phil) Schilling and Sue (Richard) Fulmer; a dear friend Shelly, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother Gary Erskine. Funeral service will take place 11:30 a.m. Friday July 22, 2022 at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Charles Campbell will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military honors under the auspices of the VFW post 7302 and the US Army. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and then on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
