Thomas J. Jakubiak Sr. Of Stevens Point passed away early Wednesday morning August 2, 2023 at Aspirus St. Michaels Hospital. Age 84 Tom was born March 27, 1939 in Milwaukee WI. He was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Bayer) Jakubiak. His marriage to Mary Wilkinson took place on August 23, 1958 in Illinois. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. His wife Mary preceded him in death on August 29, 1998. Tom worked for the City of Stevens Point as a Chief Water Pump Operator until his retirement in 1993.
Tom enjoyed many things including going Hunting and Fishing, as well as his love for the Green Bay Packers as well as the Milwaukee Brewers.
In lieu of flowers a memorial in his name will be established.
Survivors include his children; Laura (Maynard) Konkol of Stevens Point, Terrance Wilkinson of Stevens Point, Thomas (Marsha) Jakubiak Jr. of Amherst Jct, and Michael Jakubiak of Stevens Point.
He is further survived by 8 Grandchildren, and 3 Great grandchildren, and his only sister MaryAnn Lucas.
He is Preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary, and his sons Steven, Jimmy, and Johnny.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday August 8, 2023 at the Pisarski Funeral Home of Stevens Point-703 Second Street Stevens Point. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:30AM until the time of service. Rev Jeffrey Hennes will be officiating.
