Thomas F. Madden
On November 11, 2024, of Blackwood. Age 66. Beloved husband of Meg (nee Daniel). Devoted father of Thomas Madden, Jr., Tara Madden, Christopher Klauder, Katie Boub (Bill), and Maggie Onofrio (Ray). Loving grandfather of Sydney, Ellie, Morgan, Billy, Jr., Laine, and Bryce. Cherished son of Fred Madden, Sr. and the late Lorraine (nee Greager). Dear brother of Fred Madden, Jr. (Patricia).
Tom was born in Philadelphia, PA, and moved to NJ as a young child with his mother and father, Fred and Lorraine, and his older brother, Fred, Jr. He attended Edgewood High School, and this is where he would meet his first wife. Tom became a proud father to Thomas Jr. and Tara shortly after. Tom later met his soulmate, Meg, and they created a life and family he had always dreamed of having. He finished school and excelled in his trade of HVAC, becoming self employed and running a business of his own within a few years. Tom and Meg were then blessed with two more daughters, Katie and Maggie. Now, both daughters are married, and Tom's family is continuing to grow. He has a total of 6 grandchildren, and a bundle on the way. Family dinners and lunches with his dad brought him great joy.
Tom also loved his family at the Pine Hill Tavern, sure to catch the Eagles and Phillies games alongside them. He enjoyed all bar games, pool, shuffleboard, darts, and would even belt out a karaoke tune every now and then; he was always there to have a good time.
A true American man, he loved his country, flag and freedom. If you knew Tom, you knew he would never leave you cold with a fire nearby. He was an avid lover of all things outdoors; camping, tubing, horseshoes, cornhole, late night radio jams and a dip in the pool. He would never turn down a walk in the woods with any of the family dogs.
You could always find Tom hanging in his shed, drinking Budweiser, or building random things. He was so happy with the sandbox he had built for all the grandkids and enjoyed every minute playing there with them. There was never a moment in time when Tom's family wasn't the reason for the smile on his face or sound from his laughter. Tom's life and legacy will always be the love he shared with his family.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday 9:00 – 11:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 11:00 am.
In honor of Thomas' life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy, his family would encourage any donations to Veterans Helping Veterans, P.O. Box 337, Woodbury, NJ 08096.

I met Tom around 4 years ago at Pine Hill tavern at 18 years old through my father. Tom always made sure to greet me and make me feel welcomed whenever I saw him at PHT, no matter what. While I only knew Tom for a few years, the way our conversations went would make you think we knew each other forever. Truly a man with a golden heart, with a laugh that could spread like wildfire. He will be missed dearly.
