Tom was a member of the Music City chapter of the Falcon Club of America and had many friends throughout the country. He was an avid fisherman and he and his son Jim and friends enjoyed yearly trips to Canada. The winter months in Florida found him on the beach surf fishing with his friends every day that the weather permitted.

"A loving heart stopped beating, his hands were put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best."
