Thomas P. McCullough Jr., a resident of Wappingers Falls, formerly of Peekskill, NY, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024 at the Hudson Valley Hospice House in Hyde Park, NY; at the age of 74. He was born on May 13, 1950 in New York, NY, son of the late Thomas P. & Audrey (nee Tully) McCullough Sr.. Tom attended Westchester Community College and also PACE University, he received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Law. On May 3, 1980 at the Chapel of St George in Mohegan Lake, NY (the old St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church), he married Mary Ann Branchizzi; she survives him at home. He worked various different jobs stemming from collections and transportation, and later in life he worked as a patient-sitter at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY; a job that he thoroughly enjoyed. Tom was truly a people-person, and it brought great joy to comfort individuals and families during their hospital visits. Tom will be remembered for his avid love for the New York Yankees, and his Irish heritage; he always enjoyed St. Patrick's Day, cooking his corned beef and cabbage. He truly had a infectious smile, and could always liven a room with his laugh. Along with his beloved wife of 44-years Mary Ann McCullough, Tom is survived by his two sons: Thomas P. McCullough III and Colin J. McCullough. Along with his parents, Tom was predeceased by his brother Kevin McCullough in 2001, and his dear mother-in-law Elizabeth 'Betty' Branchizzi in 2013.
