Thomas Salvatore Megna

Thomas "Tom" Megna was born on June 4, 1951 to Matteo and Elizabeth Megna in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 72. Loving husband of Kathleen for the past 48 years. Dear father of Heather (Bill) Thomas and Amber (Brian) Michalik. Loving grandfather of Ella, Hawk, Macie, and Cora. Loving brother of Grace Azar. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Tom owned Environmental Quality Laboratories, an environmental testing laboratory in Sterling Heights for 32 years. He was also an avid fisherman and outdoorsmen. Tom was the proud captain of Strictly Fishing Charters. He also enjoyed hunting, camping, and spending time up north. He adored his golden retrievers Brandy, Denali, and Sadie. Tom deeply loved being a Papa to his grandchildren. He cherished every Sunday dinner, game night, dance recital, school event, and sleepover. His family and grandkids were his light and his world. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
