Thomas Edward Miller

Thomas Edward Miller passed away January 20, 2026 in Litchfield, MN at the age of 73. He is the son of Loren Wilber and Elizabeth Anne (Van Thuyne) Miller, he was born on April 5,1952 in Mankato, MN.

His young years were spent in Garretson, South Dakota. He then graduated from Boys Town in Omaha, NE in 1970. He enlisted in the Navy in 1971. After that he moved to Sleepy Eye, MN.

He enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading, and spending time relaxing with family and friends. He had a career welding and then enjoyed helping make memorial statues after retirement.

Preceded in death by his sister Barbara Lauderback, parents; Loren and Elizabeth Miller, grandparents; Frederick and Florence (Jenkins) Miller, Edward Van Thuyne and C. Peryl (Stuve) Skaggs, step-grandfather Russell Skaggs, as well as his brother-in-law, Steve Wooldrik.

Left to cherish Tom’s memory are his children; Andy (Sara) Miller of Litchfield, MN Erik (Anne) Miller-Unse of Litchfield, MN Chris Miller of Hutchinson, MN Melissa (Robert) Tauer of Tioga, ND and Megan (Justin) Putzier of Litchfield, MN.

9 grandchildren; Raigan, Hayden, Kaisyn, Brityn, Cody, Jack, Owen, Alexis, and Addisyn.

Siblings; Mary Wooldrik of Melbourne, FL Teri Miller of Rochester, MN Jo Miller of Mankato, MN Gene Miller of Rochester, MN Rich (Lisa) Miller of Rochester, MN Paul Miller of Rochester, MN and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
