He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Constance Plucinski, a son Paul S. Mitro of Jeffersonville, VT, a daughter
Michele Hargbol & Dana of Cumming GA,
Predeceased by son Lawrence T. Mitro,
3 granddaughters, Breanna Light & Greg of Monument, CO, Lauren Mitro of Cumming, GA, and Alexis Darrow & Bobby of Virginia Beach, VA,
2 great granddaughters, Avery & Addison Darrow of Virginia Beach,
and a brother Michael Mitro of Stratford, CT.
He owned & operated the Towne Pastry Shoppe in Wilmington, VT. He became police officer & deputy sheriff in Windham County, VT. Tom was also a volunteer fire fighter in Wilmington VT.
After traveling in his 5th wheel RV for 7 ½ years, made his home in Cumming, GA for the past 10 years.
