A Bardstown resident, Mr. Thomas Hubert "Tony" Nalley, Jr., age 58, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025 at his residence. He was born November 19, 1966 in Nelson County to Elizabeth Marie "Libby" and Thomas Hubert "Tom" Nalley, Sr. Tony was a musician and author and was a Christian by faith. He had a lifelong love for music and enjoyed song writing and playing guitar. He was a devoted family man and was a loving son, father, brother and uncle who had a heart bigger than his arms could hold. He is survived by his son, Shaun Thomas Nalley of Bardstown, his parents, Tom and Libby Nalley, Sr. of Bardstown, his sister, Tami Nalley Johnson of Bardstown, 2 nieces, Rachelle Leigh Johnson of Bardstown, Jacqueline Desiree (Daniel) Humes of Springfield, and his great nieces and nephews, Dax and Kinsleigh Humes, Jaziel Salazar and Sophia Grace Johnson. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Tony's family followed his wishes of cremation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Tony's music and writing at www.tonynalley.com. The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
