Thomas Gerhardt Pipan, 60, of Lowell, MA, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Springfield Hospital.
Born in Winchester, MA, he was the son of Cyril A. Pipan and Marita T. Boos. Thomas was a 1983 graduate of Westford Academy and went on to attend Middlesex Community College.
He worked as a metal fabrication machinist and was a former resident of Westford.
A devoted member of Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Catherine Church, Thomas was a kind and compassionate soul who deeply loved his family and had an extraordinary gift for seeing the best in others. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Tommy found great joy in the outdoors. He had a lifelong passion for fishing and hiking, and was an avid water skier and golfer. His enthusiasm, warmth, and adventurous spirit brought happiness to those around him and will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
He is survived by his brothers, Gregory Pipan and his wife Deborah of Groveland, MA, and Robert "Bob" Pipan and his companion Courtney Price of Newburyport, MA; and his sister, Judith Knox of Ipswich, MA. He also leaves behind his nephews, Michael Knox and his wife Molly, and Matthew Pipan; and his nieces, Ashley Watts and her husband Ryan, Brooke Pipan, Sophia Pipan, and Morgan Pipan.
FUNERAL NOTICE
Thomas Gerhardt Pipan, Lowell, MA, died June 26, 2025. Memorial service will be held August 5, 2025; 10 am, at St Caterine Cemetery, Pine Ridge Road, Westford, Massachusetts, 01886.
