CLARENDON SPRINGS- Thomas William Posch, 51, of Clarendon Springs passed away unexpectedly but peacefully Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at his residence.
Tom was born on July 4, 1972 in Rutland. He grew up in Clarendon Springs, graduating from Mill River Union High School in 1991.
He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
Tom enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, going to concerts and was known as a master griller. He was certified in working with fireworks, and put on private fireworks displays for special occasions. He was a gifted carpenter and will be remembered for using his time and skills to help his family and friends. In addition to being employed by Winterplace at Okemo, he was self-employed, operating TWP Construction for many years.
Survivors include a son William Posch of Wallingford, William's sister Samantha Hance of Rutland, his mother Nancy Posch of Clarendon Springs, 5 siblings Stacey Becker of South Burlington, Darcy Nelson of Shrewsbury, Travis Posch of Poultney, Jeremy Posch of Rutland, and Angela Oberg of South Acworth, NH, his cherished companion Kelly Sargent, and nieces and nephews. He was loved and treasured by those who were fortunate enough to have him in their lives. As a loving son, devoted father, attentive uncle, and generous brother and friend, his absence leaves a hole that will not be filled.
There will be no public services.
