Thomas Milton "Tommy" Ray, of Pritchett, passed away on October 29, 2024. He was born on December 30, 1939, in Gladewater to Roy and Lola (Armstrong) Ray.
Throughout his life, he made many friends and cherished the moments shared with them. Tommy was a sheet metal fabricator, worked at Continental Can and Lonestar Steel, and retired as an agent for Reliable Life Insurance Company
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Jan (Snow) Ray of Pritchett; son, Chris Ray (Juliet) of San Antonio; 3 grandchildren, Charles Ray (Katie), Samantha Ray, Luke Ray, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Durand Ray; and sister, Oleta Dunbar.
A memorial service will be held at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer on November 1, 2024, at 12pm with visitation being 1 hour prior to service. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his caregivers, Sam and Jodie.
