Mr. Thomas Clay Rose, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM November 2, 2024 in Rose Holler Campground 468 Rose Road. Max Meadows, VA. Rev. Lee Thomas will be officiating.
Mr. Rose was born on March 25, 1949 in Virginia, to the late Dewey Martin and Eliza Rose Scott. He was US Navy veteran, proudly serving his country 1967-1971. Mr. Rose was a transportation broker with L.J. Rogers Trucking and Logistics. He enjoyed fishing, football, music, and loved to talk politics. Mr. Rose was an avid Virginia Tech Fan, and was loved by his family.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Morgan; children, Misty Rose, Janna Blow, and Caroline Rose; five grandchildren; sister, Pam Hall; brother, Clay Martin; step-mother, Ima Martin; sisters-in-law, Sherrie Turnage, and Robbie Wood; brothers-in-law, Danny Morgan, Dale Morgan, and Kelvin Morgan; several nieces and nephews.
