Thomas Schane Obituary
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother William Schane, Jr.
Tom leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years Sandrea Marie Schane; son Scott (Kelly) Schane; grandson Jason Thomas Schane, who was the light of his life; nephew Douglas (Carrie) Schane; and niece Renee (John) Billy.
Tom loved fishing and cherished the trips he took with his son and grandson. He also loved to target shoot. He was Scott's crew chief when he was racing, and he was always there for any event that involved his son or his grandson. Tom did things his way on his own terms and will be greatly missed.
Tom's private arrangements have been entrusted to Altmeyer Funeral Homes Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Tom's family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital here.
