Thomas S. Suchon

Thomas S. Suchon, 76, of Wernersville, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at home. He was the husband of Dianne (Frey) Suchon, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage on Oct. 22nd . Thomas, a son of the late Stephen and Catherine (Kun) Suchon, was born in Palmerton. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Christopher Suchon, husband of Diane, and Victoria Suchon-Dubrow, wife of Daniel; and his grandchildren; Alyssa and Ryan Mott. Thomas attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from Palmerton Area High School in 1964. He then continued to Williamsport Area Community College and RIT. He worked and lived in Rochester, NY for General Dynamics before moving back to Palmerton and working for Mid Atlantic Canners in Hamburg. He was then promoted in 1980 within the company to Assistant Plant Manager in Northampton Massachusetts and along with his family resided in Easthampton Massachusetts until 1990. Thomas retired from the Hamburg Facility. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church, Robesonia. He was also a member of Skyline Drive Corvette Club and the Sinking Spring Y. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, Nov. 3 rd , at St. Francis de Sales Church, 320 N. Church St., Robesonia. Visitation with the family will be held from 9:30-10:30AM, Friday, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave, Wernersville. Burial will be private for the family in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Palmerton.
