Thomas Edward Wilcox Jr., 72, of Apple Creek, died March 1, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital.
Tom was born December 22, 1952 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Thomas and Alma {Martin} Wilcox.
Tom went to the Wayne County Career Center.
He married Mary Hackett on June 26, 1995.
Tom worked in the cleaning room for Quality Castings for 35 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tom played Santa Clause for children around the holidays.
Tom will be deeply missed by his wife, daughters Regina Hampton, Deanna (Dustin) Moyer, Tonya Wilcox, and Rhonda (James) DeVault; siblings Carleen (Simon) Anderson, Randy (Barbara) Wilcox, Jeannie Boyd, Sharon (Jim) Wagar, Rich Yeagley, Phillip Yeagley, Anita Yeagley, John Yeagley, Jim Bates, Gina Bates; grandchildren Rylie, Raelyn (Robert), Riddik, James DeVault II; great-grandchildren Juniper and Wilobi; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Terry, Jeffrey, and Valerie.
Funeral services will be Wednesday March 5 at 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
