Thomas W. Zajdel, age 76, passed away October 5, 2024.
Tom was the beloved husband and best friend of Sue Zajdel for 18 years; loving father of Becky (John Hopf) Zajdel, Nickie (Curt) Smiscik, Scott (Tammy) Wilson, and Brian Wilson; devoted papa of Zachary (Sami) Zajdel, Samantha Wilson, Madison Smiscik, Natalie Smiscik, and Clarissa Hopf; proud great-grandfather of Sadie; dear brother of Patti Martian; and uncle of Lisa Martian.
Tom retired after 38 years with Ford Motor Company. He was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame for his perfect score. He was a dedicated golfer that never had a sand trap he didn’t like. Most of all he was a diehard sports fan cheering for his favorite teams: Michigan Wolverine football, Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings.
