Tidvyl Lorraine Davis Vitello

Tidvyl Lorraine Davis Vitello, MSN, RN, 77 of Point Pleasant, NJ entered Gods arms on December 20th 2023.
Lorraine was born and raised in Newark, NJ. Lorraine graduated from Barringer High School in Newark in January of 1964 and went on to obtain her nursing degree from 1964 thru 1967. Lorraine began her nursing career at Newark City Emergency Room, Martland Hospital where she would eventually be promoted to nursing supervisor. It was in the emergency room, where Lorraine met Dennis leading to a wonderful 50 years of marriage. Lorraine and her husband relocated to the Jersey Shore to begin a family, first living in Brick NJ and eventually settling in Point Pleasant NJ. Lorraine then would go onto to work for Community Memorial Hospital in Toms River, NJ, now known as RWJ Barnabas/ Community Medical Center, in the emergency room as a nursing supervisor, where she would retire after 37 years as Director of Bioethics and Bereavement. During this time, Lorraine obtained her master's degree in nursing administration from Jersey City State College.
Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Hannah Davis and twin sons, Dennis and Thomas, her father and mother in law Anthony and Rita Vitello, and her brother in law John.
Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Dennis and her cherished children, Darian, Lori and Daniel. Lorraine adored her grandchildren, Gianna and Anthony. Lorraine is also survived by her son in law Vincent, Lori's husband as well as her daughter in law, Ashley, Daniel's wife. Lorraine is also survived by her sister in law's Eileen and Seton and many cousins.
Of the many proud accomplishments Lorraine had in her life, she especially adored her Welsh heritage. Lorraine also loved exploring the beach in search of sand dollars that she would collect on family vacations in Kiawah Island.

Visitation will be held at the Carmona-Bolen Funeral Home, 412 Main Street, Toms River, NJ on Wednesday, December 27th 2p-4p & 7p-9p, Thursday, December 28th 10a-12p with a Funeral Service to be held at the East Dover Baptist Church, Toms River at 12:30 pm, Interment to follow at the Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle, NJ.
