Tim Heddens

Funeral service for Tim Heddens, age 68, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 3:00p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025 at Murray- Orwosky Funeral Home. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. Mr. Heddens passed away at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Timothy Scott Heddens was born on December 15, 1956 in Laport, Indiana to Dale Edgar and Fay Marie (Hicks) Heddens. He married Mary Kizer in Sulphur Springs, Texas on August 16, 1978. Tim was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was deployed during wartime. He worked in general construction for Wayne Cooper for over 35 years.

Tim is survived by his wife, Mary Heddens; sons, Jason Scott Heddens and David Mario Cervantez; daughter, Jessica Marie Heddens Reynolds; daughter-in-law, Christon Denise Dabney Heddens; brothers, Mike Heddens and Dawayne Heddens; sister, Irma Heddens Rice; grandchildren, Christopher Foley, Jr., Zachary Dale Reynolds, Aiden Drake Reynolds, Kayla Marie Farmer, and Michael Williams; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Blake Farmer, Layla Brook Farmer, Laynee Mae Farmer, and Marlee LaMay Cervantez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Faye Heddens, and sister, Debbie Heddens.
