Tim E. Heidenreiter, 74, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 with his family by his side at Sheboygan Senior Community.
Tim was born on November 1, 1948, to Russell & Mona (Fredrick) Heidenreiter. He was a 1967 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School and continued his studies, earning his bachelors from UW Milwaukee and later his masters from UW Oshkosh.
On July 22, 1978, Tim married Mary Jo Kregel at Saint Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Sheboygan.
Tim was a dedicated educator, teaching math for more than 40 years at St. Peter Claver Catholic School, Howards Grove High School, and UW Sheboygan. He had a true gift for connecting with students.
Tim was a member of the Sheboygan Falls Lions Club and coached various sports including Howards Grove Football, Track & Field, Girls Basketball, and Sheboygan Falls Baseball. During his free time, he enjoyed playing trivia, listening to golden oldies, playing softball (as evidenced by his 2002 Sheboygan Softball Association Hall of Fame Induction), and most of all spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Tim appreciated sports of all kinds, from local youth teams to the Brewers, Bucks, Badgers, and Packers. His most cherished memories were watching his children and grandchildren compete.
He enjoyed traveling and exploring the world. TIm took countless road trips with his family and he and Mary Jo went on numerous adventures after they retired. Travel highlights included Italy, France, England, Germany, Luxembourg, Croatia, and visiting all 50 states.
Tim is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Jo of Sheboygan Falls; children, Eric (Sara) Heidenreiter of Brown Deer and Rebeca (Alan) Grulowski of Sheboygan Falls; two grandchildren, Quinn and Kyle Heidenreiter; brother, Tom Heidenreiter; sister-in-law, JoAnn (Charles) Hermann; nephew, Matthew (Lorna) Heidenreiter; niece, Aimee Heidenreiter. He is further survived by many other dear relatives and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law, and a sister-in-law, Debra Heidenreiter.
A casual Celebration of Life gathering will take place at The Bull At Pinehurst Farms, One Long Dr, Sheboygan Falls on Friday, April 28 from 4:00 until 7:00pm. Tim will be laid to rest at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery in a private family ceremony at a later date.
Memorial gifts can be made in his name for Wisconsin Parkinson Association or DonorsChoose.org to support teachers in the classroom.
