Tim Krueger, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 4, 2024.
Devoted father to Erika Krueger, Derrick (Heather) Krueger, Andrew (Melissa) Krueger, Alyssa (Trey Blalock) Krueger, Tonie (Andy) Kieliszkowski, and Danyel (Nick) Koldeway. Adoring grandpa (Paca) to Aurora, Nathaniel, Mason, Easton, Evelynn, Asher, Alaina, Joya, Arden, Megan, Sara, Lillian, Wyatt, Charlotte and great-grandpa to Julian. Preceded in death by his wife Vina, granddaughter Danielle, brother Bill and sister Lynn.
Born on January 20, 1948, Tim grew up in Milwaukee and attended Custer High School. He furthered his education at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, where he graduated in 1971 with a degree in Forestry. He spent his career in environmental safety and conservation for the Department of Natural Resources and WE Energies. He was able to enjoy an early retirement and spend time on what he found truly important, family.
Tim was a devoted husband to the late Vina Krueger, who passed away in December 2023. He found Vina later in life and realized this was a love he had always been seeking, and he cherished every moment spent with her.
A man of many passions, Tim found joy in the great outdoors, particularly through hunting and wildlife conservation. He shared these passions with his children, teaching many lessons of the value and impact of preserving our natural resources. His laugh was well-known among his family and friends, heard clearly across the room at the loudest of gatherings. Tim also had a unique talent for repurposing discarded items, a participant in curbside recycling before it was even invented!
Above all, Tim treasured his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. His legacy of love, resourcefulness, and passion for nature will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 South East Avenue, Waukesha, Wisconsin beginning at 5:00 PM with a service at 6:15 PM.
