Mr. Timothy Victor Adkins, age 67, of West Green, Georgia, passed away Tuesday morning, August 19, 2025, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a extended illness. Mr. Adkins was born December 22, 1957 in Clinton, New Jersey to the late Herman Roscoe Adkins and the late Viola Kirkland Adkins. He made his career as a Truck Driver with Salt Peanut and was a member of Pineview Church of God both in West Green, Georgia. His greatest joy was time spent with his bride, the love of his life, Gail. He also loved fishing and enjoyed going to flea markets and watching old westerns. Mr. Adkins leaves behind his loving wife of 6 years, Gail Burkett Adkins of West Green, Georgia; 8 daughters: Mary Ann Adkins and Brenda Whalen, both of Tampa, Florida,Wanda Faye Crabtree of Clinton, Iowa, Sondra Thompson and husband Mike, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Melissa McClellan and husband Jamie, of Alma, Georgia, Sandee Jump and husband Craig, of West Green, Georgia, Lydia Davis and husband Matt of Broxton, Georgia, Mary Ann Hursey and husband Kenny, of West Green, Georgia; 2 sons: Bill Frey of Sherman, Texas and Tony Frey of the Philippines; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; a special sister-in-law, Mary Thibodeau of Watertown, Massachusetts; along with a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members. Along with his parents, Mr. Adkins was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Adkins; 2 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; and 3 sisters. Mr. Adkins' family will hold a Celebration of Life to honor Mr. Adkins on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Pine View Church of God in West Green, Georgia, with Bishop Craig Jump officiating. Condolences, kind words and fond memories may be shared with Mr. Adkins' family at www.ricketsonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements for Mr. Adkins have been entrusted to the kind and compassionate staff of Ricketson Funeral Home, Inc. of Douglas, Georgia.
