Tony DuBois here. Now 75 just returned to area from Rockland Maine. Last winter did me in.
Somehow I randomly came across your son´s obituary. Teachers do not admit to having favorites but I am in a confessional mood. Tim was a fan of mine. You know that. I cannot begin to tell you how your son´s death has saddened me. My prayers are with you all.

To your extraordinary spirit, Tim, that lasts forever in my heart. I remember our times together at Shalom with deep love, especially in the kitchen. You and I shared so many laughs while we planned, cooked, and served our friends-your desire to help beyond what was necessary saved many a meal. I'll always cherish your tender loving care and delightful smile. May all your family be guided by your loving spirit that will last forever. With love and gratitude for your awesome being.

Kate and Jim, I just now discovered this unimaginable loss of your Tim. I am at a loss for words and can only send my heartfelt sympathy to you both and for Erin as well. There will always be such fond memories of our Beaver St days and the rambunctious and precious kids we watched and loved. My heart goes out to you all. Love, Peg

Mom, dad and Erin, my heart was devastated upon hearing this tragic news. The love and respect go back many many years. May Tim be besting his swimming times upstairs and causing Mike grief like we did as kids. I know they are looking down on us all proud to be your sons

Growing up, Tim was always a big supporter of me athletically. He was a cheerleader of sorts. It mattered a lot to me back then. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to Erin and his family.

The first time I met Tim, he told me beautiful stories of how he quenched his wanderlust traveling across America in his van. I told him that had always been a dream of mine. Tim generously offered to help make my dream come true by showing me his van. What a beautiful soul. My deepest condolences to the Aeschliman family.

I met Tim in the Shalom kitchen with a delightful hello and a big hug. Tim was always the most helpful and diligent worker, supporter, and loving friend! His smile brought joy and sunshine into every heart and he was a master of kindness. I deeply miss his vibrant, caring spirit and warm, loving hugs. I felt honored to be his friend and to work closely with him at Shalom.

Tim was the guy who could never do enough for you. When he supported an event at Shalom Mountain, it was like having a silent leader in the background constantly tending to the details that made events run flawlessly. He was also a master photographer and we shared our passion for that art form. Tim - thank you for your friendship, your service, your love of art and beauty, your kindness and your generosity. You left us much too soon.

Mr. & Mrs. Aeschliman and Erin Nieces and nephews.-I am so sad to hear of Tim's passing. I know he loved you all.
I remember the day we met. Tim asked where I was from- when I told him Huntington NY, Tim smiled and said "DiRaimo's Pizza" which was the best pizza place in my town.! We just cracked up.
Tim was a great friend, a great brother/son/uncle and a real Gentleman. When he asked you "how are you doing or how's things?" he wasn't just being polite he really wanted to know. He was a great listener. Sincere.
I so enjoyed having him live above my office for several years and seeing him each day was a highlight for me.
He loved a cheap car and enjoyed a good laugh- even at his own expense.
If he had a flaw, I would say he was too hard on himself.
I admired his dedication to his sobriety - and I learned a lot from him about how to work the program. He will be missed by many.
Your family is in my prayers, I hope you feel surrounded by much love during this time of sadness. I will cherish the memories we shared.

I met Tim in our Art of Loving training at Shalom Mountain in 2019. What was supposed to be a 6 month training, turned into two years, zooming every month and getting one another through the pandemic. I hadn't seen him for two years, since the training ended, and was so fortunate to have supported a retreat with him recently, getting to hug him, catch up on life, and work alongside him. I kept asking him what I was supposed to be doing, since it was my first retreat support, and he kept saying, "well, we need to do such and such....but I'll take care of that." "TIM! I'd say, you have to let me do something!" And he'd laugh, and tell me what to do. I will miss him, miss his laugh, miss his vulnerability and sincerity.
So much love to you, Kate, and to your family Forever.

We met and often spent time in community at Shalom Mountain. We had a convo on a Thursday night about motocross and how I had a dirt bike as a kid. Sunday when I was about to leave Shalom, Tim said, "here are the keys, my bike is all gassed up for you." We barely knew each other at that point, but knowing how much delight it would bring to me was all Tim needed to know...that´s just Tim!
