Timothy John Arnold passed away from a pulmonary embolism on April 3, 2024. Timothy was 49. He is survived by his parents, Gary J. Arnold and Beverly A. Arnold; Uncles Richard Arnold, William McLoughlin, Donald James, Gary Butler; Aunts Barbara James, Kathleen Butler and several cousins. He was an accomplished musician and lacrosse player in high school and college. Tim was a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and worked for GE/Baker Hughes Corporation as an environmental health and safety professional. He was responsible for designing programs and procedures to protect workers involved in high voltage power plant technologies, radiation protection and procedures involving hazardous industrial chemical management. Prior to joining Baker Hughes, Tim worked in numerous environmental management roles with General Electric corporation. He enjoyed gardening, golf, boating and fishing on the St. Lawrence River at the family cottage, and his beloved Labrador Retrievers.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 11am at the Church of Saints John and Andrew in Binghamton. The family will receive friends from 10am until the time of mass. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Whitney Point.
