Timothy "Tim" J. Bales, age 51, of Walhonding passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.
He was born on September 5, 1973, in Mount Vernon to James "Bud" Bales and Jill (Hobbs) Phillips. Tim owned and operated Bales Concrete. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and tinkering on just about anything. He also enjoyed helping people whenever asked. But most of all, he loved the time he spent with his family and close friends.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Porras) Bales; his children, Preston Bales, Cole Bales, Ashley Bales, Emily Bales, Adriana Rodriguez, Isabela Rodriguez; four grandchildren, Lincoln, Kasen, Cohen and August Bales; his mother Jill (Mike) Phillips; and his brothers Adam (Susan) Bales and Alex (Lacey) Bales.
Tim was preceded in death by his father James "Bud" Bales; his brother Hugh Bales; and his grandparents Gene and Jean Hobbs.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00pm at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home. A service will be held on Friday, at the funeral home, beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Doug Pummell officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery in Centerburg.
