Timothy Patrick Benton, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on September 27, 1958, in Bristol, PA, Tim spent his life embracing the simple joys and building a legacy filled with love and laughter. Tim called Buckingham, PA, his home, where he spent his days surrounded by the beauty of his meticulously kept yard and the love of his family. His greatest achievements were not just the tangible ones, like the house he built in the Poconos or the thriving painting business he started from scratch, but the intangible ones-his family, his granddaughters, and marrying the love of his life, Franchesta Benton. Tim was a man whose life was as vibrant and colorful as the paint he applied. Tim was a devoted angler, avid fisherman, and a lifelong lover of the water. He found joy and solace in the outdoors, particularly when casting a line and sharing his passion with family and friends. Tim's smile could light up a room, and his friendliness made him a beloved figure in the community. He was the kind of person who would lend a helping hand to anyone in need, always eager to solve a problem and make life a little easier for those around him. His hard-working nature was matched only by his steadfast dedication to his family. Known for his great sense of humor, Tim was a joker who could find joy in the simplest moments, always cheerful and loving life to its fullest. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by his adoring wife Franchesta, his daughter Lauren Donelan her husband Brian Donelan, his son Nicholas Benton and his wife Kaitlin Kelly, two granddaughters Abby and Izzy, his mother Ruth Benton, and nine brothers and sisters. They, along with many friends and extended family, will hold a celebration of Tim's life on a later date, a fitting tribute to a man who embraced every moment with a twinkle in his eye.
