Timothy Joseph Doyle, age 68, of Tellico Plains, passed away at home on October 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on May 9, 1957, Tim was the beloved husband of Rita (Kazy) Doyle, with whom he shared 49 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on love, laughter, and deep devotion to their family.
Tim was a proud and loving father to Melanie (Matt) MacInnes of White Lake, MI; Shannan (Chuck) LaFave of Detroit, MI; Heather Burkett of Tellico Plains, TN; and Timothy Ray Doyle of Chattanooga, TN. He was a cherished grandfather to Kristin, Landon, Claire, Alaina, Catherine, Logan, Juliana, and Ava - each of whom brought him endless joy and pride.
He is survived by his siblings: Lorna Laurain, Terry (Rose) Doyle, Rick (Debbie) Doyle, Andy (Yolanda) Doyle, and Patti (Roger) Potter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Rita Doyle, as well as his brothers Tommy and Jamie.
Tim's faithful four-legged companion, Trump ("Trumpet"), never left his side and was a constant comfort and loyal friend.
Tim enjoyed the simple pleasures in life - casting a line on a quiet lake, playing a good game of cards with his family, and many nights spent bowling or sharing stories with family. His laughter, steady presence, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
There are no services planned at this time as Timothy's wishes were to be cremated.
