Obituary
Timothy R. Ebie, 54, of North Lawrence, passed away quietly, early Saturday morning, August 19, 2023, following an extended period of declining health. Born in Massillon, November 20, 1968, a son to the late John and Evelyn (Daily) Ebie, Sr., Tim graduated from Tuslaw High School with the Class of 1988. While his health allowed, he worked at several different jobs; obtained his CDL, and owned and operated his own business, Tiny Tim Transportation Express. A man of quiet faith, Tim was a Christian and his family was very precious to him. He was an excellent cook and loved the outdoors, loved to hunt and fish; loved to make people laugh, and enjoyed the companionship of his dog, "Sarge."
Predeceased by his parents; an infant brother, John, Jr., and an infant daughter, Courtney Lynn Ebie; Tim is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Paige Ebie, of Jackson Township; and his grandchildren, Caleb Richards, Chancen Ebie, and Olivia Sumpter – whose arrival is anticipated on October 12th. Also surviving is an extended family whom he treasured, including a stepson, Justin (Ashlie) Creter, of North Lawrence, their daughter, Hunter and son Coltin; stepdaughter, Amanda (Brandon) Shuman, of Massillon, and their children, Joshua Henderson, Alaenah McLaughlin, Maddy Mahoney, and Hayden Shuman; cousin, Brian (Tammy) Daily, of Canal Fulton, and many more relatives and a number of good friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon. Pastor Mike Brillhart of Living Word Church in Norton will officiate, and a private burial at Sunset Hills Burial Park will follow. The family will receive condolences in the funeral home prior to the service, from 10:00 am – 12:00 p.m. Wednesday morning. Memorial contributions made in care of Brian Daily will help defray Tim's final expenses. Your memories and condolences are always welcome and may be added to his on-line guestbook.

I am sorry for your loss. I can remember when aunt Martha and great grandma (Susie) would come to visit and brought Tim. We would have fun running and playing hide and seek. Then we lost contact for a number of years. Then one day Tim stopped by as an adult. Mom asked me who is that handsome gentleman was. I said I don't know. We went out and he said "hi aunt Esther". Mom couldn't believe he was so tall. I have so many wonderful memories of Tim. Rest In Peace my cousin.
