William Roger Seeger, 84, of Edmond, OK, passed away on August 27, 2025. He was born on June 27, 1941, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Henry and Nadine Seeger, and grew up alongside his older brothers, David and John.
On February 16, 1968, Bill married the love of his life, Dorene, and together they shared 57 years of marriage. They were blessed with four children: Dareck Seeger (Lorinda), Staci Quintana (Anthony), Mandy Goble (John), and Molly Pemberton (Steve). He was a proud grandfather to 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and was cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bill lived a full and varied life, working in many trades and careers: radio weatherman, aviation academic instructor, sheet metal shop owner, canopy construction, corporate pilot, corporate office building maintenance, shopkeeper, aircraft mechanic, small engine mechanic, and chimney sweep. No matter the job, he gave it his all and was always eager to learn something new.
Known as "Google" to his family, Bill loved learning and sharing knowledge. He was a lifelong collector-believing that little in life was truly junk-and had a deep love for anything connected to his children and grandchildren. A man of many talents, he even taught himself to play the piano by ear, bringing joy and music to family gatherings for many years.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Nadine Seeger, and brothers David and John. He is survived by his beloved wife Dorene, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
A faithful member of the Church of Christ for many years, Bill's life was marked by love, service, and devotion to his family and faith. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched with his wisdom, humor, and unwavering encouragement.
