Tim was born on October 6, 1970, in Indianapolis, IN to Timothy F. Guinan and Donna Eldridge. He was a 1988 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 1996 graduate of IUPUI in Indianapolis. Tim proudly served his country in the United States Army in the 101 Airborne Division in Operation Desert Storm. He was an active-duty police officer with The Greenwood Police Department for 25 years. Tim truly had a servant's heart and would do anything to help anyone who needed him. He enjoyed the "lake life" and loved to go camping, hunting and fishing. He was also passionate about cooking for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his LEO family.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Kendra D. (Rash) Guinan of Ninevah; his two sons, Grant Guinan (Samantha) of West Lafayette, and Garrett Guinan of West Lafayette; father, Tim Guinan, Sr. of Indianapolis; mother, Judy Fedowicz of Greenwood; mother, Donna Eldridge of Sarasota, FL; siblings, Jodi Guinan (Lindsay) of Indianapolis, Tracy Guinan of Indianapolis, Jennifer Tinkham (Shawn) of Greenwood, Jessica Weasner (Brandon) of Greenwood, Sean Guinan of Indianapolis and Gabriel Guinan of Indianapolis; 10 nieces and nephews, Andre, Ian, Briana, Kaylon, Gage, Sam, Jack, Sophie, Sara and Ben; and his beloved dogs, Finn and Charlie.
Funeral services for Tim will be held at Greenwood Christian Church, 2045 Averitt Road, Greenwood, IN 46143, on Tuesday, July 12 at 11AM. The family will receive guests at the church on Monday, July 11, from 4:00-8:00PM and again on Tuesday morning from 10:00AM until the time of service. Military honors will be rendered immediately after the funeral procession through Greenwood.
Flowers will be accepted at Greenwood Christian Church or memorial contributions can be made in Tim's memory to The Military Veteran Project, PO Box 3926, Topeka, KS 66604 or you can go to the website, www.militaryveteranproject.org.

I remember when Uncle Timmy said that he was going to get me a bow and arrow for my birthday and my said no way that's just crazy but he did it any way. I loved it so much he was all ways carried away when something mattered to him and that's one of the reasons why I loved him. He was a great person and will truly be missed.

Romans 13:7 says to give honor to those who deserve honor. Tim deserves that honor. I will always be grateful for helping me in a situation of domestic violence! I will never forget how kind Tim were to me when I was scared and hurt.

On behalf of all the White Lake residents, we send our deepest sympathy to Kendra and family. Tim was loved and respected by so many of our residents who loved our lake living like he did. He was also known to many as one of the "Bauer Boys", especially around July 4th and other special celebrations. Tim will be greatly missed. Our prayers for comfort are being sent your way.
