Timothy Kilduff Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Fred H McGrath & Son, Inc. - Bronxville on Jan. 12, 2026.
Timothy G. Kilduff, 66 years old, passed away on January 11, 2026, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Tim was surrounded by his family who will miss him immensely.

Tim was the eldest son of Pat and Virginia Kilduff. He was one of seven children and spent a wonderful childhood in the Bronx, attending St. Nicholas of Tolentine School and Bronx High School of Science. He spent his childhood summers at Rockaway Beach. In 1975, the Kilduff clan moved to Long Beach where Tim finished high school. He went on to attend St. John's University and later earned his MBA at Manhattan College. Tim's career began on Wall Street on the commodities exchange, which transitioned to many years in the banking industry, to property management, and ended with working for CoreFour Construction.

In the summer of 1984, Tim met the love of his life, Eileen. The two fell into a whirlwind romance and were married two years later. They dove head first into parenthood welcoming five children in seven years: Danny, Tommy, Ryan, Katie, and Mary.

In 1990, Tim and Eileen established roots in the Crestwood section of Yonkers, NY. Over the next 36 years, Tim became an active member of his community and the Annunciation Parish. From Annunciation CYO to Hillcrest Lakers to Men's Club, this is where Tim developed lifelong friendships that became more like family. Crestwood and Annunciation were the soil where the Kilduff family tree would continue to grow. Tim and Eileen have been lucky enough to have all five of their children return to Crestwood to raise their families within a 3 block radius of one another. Tim was the proudest PopPop to Keira (3.5 years), Connor (2 years), Tommy (2 years), Sean (1.5 years), Patrick (1 year), Jack (10 months), Dove (4 months) and soon to be baby girl Kilduff, Patrick's younger sister.

Tim's large family has spent all their summers in a small little beach house in the West End of Long Beach, which is their paradise. There they have spent the happiest days of their lives.

Tim was a jack-of-all trades. After working tirelessly for his family each day, at home he was not only a husband and dad, he was the family mechanic, plumber, electrician, repairman, IT tech, the list goes on. You name it, he could fix it. Tim loved a good problem to solve, whether it was in an engine, or in his weekly crossword, he always found a solution. He also loved to cheer on his favorite teams, especially St. John's basketball, who he cheered on as a season ticket holder for nearly 50 years.

Tim will be enormously missed by all who were blessed to know him. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Eileen Kilduff; his five children Danny (Eileen) Kilduff, Tommy (Katie) Kilduff, Ryan (Katie) Kilduff, Katie (John) Driscoll, and Mary (Liam) Bave; his seven grandchildren Keira and Sean Kilduff, Connor and Jack Kilduff, Tommy Driscoll, Patrick Kilduff, and Dove Bave. He also leaves behind his mother, Virginia Kilduff, his six siblings Coleen (Al) McKeon, Annemarie (Tommy) Carey, Patrick (Traci) Kilduff, Maura (Paul) Turner, Tara (Billy) Gaydar, and Kieran (Rebecca) Kilduff, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Patrick Kilduff, his father and mother-in-law Joseph and Marion Duignan.

Tim's kind soul, pragmatic mind, and his silly sense of humor will always be remembered in every beach sunset, at every Big East Tournament, and every late night kitchen hang out.

Dear Eileen and family,
Our neighbor Tim will be greatly missed on Wisconsin Street. Sharing small talk over the fence, seeing his joy when he was with all his children and grandchildren, cooking in the back yard, working around the house, or just sitting onVirginia Beach are the lovely things we will remember about him. He fought a difficult and courageous battle which unfortunately took him far too soon. May he rest in peace and may all the wonderful memories console you all.

To my Dear friend Eileen & all the Kilduff & Duignan family, I pray a legion of Angels around all those that Tim left behind. I can't imagine your pain & unrighteous loss you are suffering. Life with Eileen, all five of the beautiful babies & now grandbabies was indeed a heaven on earth. My heart breaks for all of you & I will be offering up a mass here in AZ in honor of Tim & to bless the huge, loving clan left behind.

Prayers & Hugs,

Gene Sweeney
