Timothy Gerald Lemon, 65, of Coon Rapids passed away in the presence of his family on September 28th, 2024. Tim was a kind man, devoted father, and loving husband.
Tim grew up in Coon Rapids, graduating from Coon Rapids High School in 1977. Growing up, Tim was a dedicated Boy Scout, eventually earning the rank of Eagle Scout after building a bridge for Rum River Park. When Tim wasn't building bridges, he loved working on his Chevy SS Supernova and spending time with family and friends. He spent countless hours cruising around with his best friends Scott, Jeff, and Dave creating lifelong memories while getting into all sorts of trouble.
In 1978, Tim met the love of his life, Carol Dallman of Coon Rapids. Tim and Carol happily married in 1983. Their marriage was full of love and life. They traveled the United States together, winning big at the casino, and spent countless nights watching movies together.
Throughout his life, Tim enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. Some of his favorite memories include building things in his garage for others, catching big fish and tagging a trophy deer, spending time with his father, brothers and mother- who always brought the family together.
In August of 1994, Tim and Carol welcomed their son, Jeremiah Lemon, into the world. Jeremiah became enthusiastic about Taekwondo, which Tim always supported. Eventually, Tim joined Jeremiah to do Taekwondo, even earning his black belt under Grandmaster James Franklin. Tim went on to support Jeremiah when he decided to open his own school. Tim did everything he could to be supportive including working from 5:00am and then helping Jeremiah teach classes at night.
Tim retired in 2021 due to health issues after working several jobs over his lifetime. He spent the past few years of retirement spending time with his wife, son, and Taekwondo friends. Tim battled many health conditions including a serious sepsis infection which contributed to his passing.
Tim is loved and remembered by his wife, Carol Lemon; son, Jeremiah Lemon (Grayce); brothers, Thomas and Terry Lemon, and numerous friends and family. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Jerry and Diane Lemon; and two sisters, Tamara Acciari (Lemon) and Tracy Acciari (Lemon).
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 9 at 2 PM with visitation starting at 1 PM at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel, 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433. During the service, you will be invited to share your favorite memory of Tim. Sharing will not be required, but it will be appreciated.
