Timothy "Tim" Lewis, 52, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on October 5, 2025. Born on March 15, 1973, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Tim grew up surrounded by family and community in Rough River - a place that always held a special spot in his heart.

Tim is survived by his devoted wife, Melissa Stevenson Lewis; his beloved children, Alex and Addyson; and his parents, Rita and Jesse Lewis of Rough River, Kentucky.

Tim attended the University of Louisville and went on to build a distinguished career in the culinary and hospitality industry. He was the proud owner of Game Restaurant in Louisville and Game on the River in Jeffersonville, Indiana. His professional journey also included leading food service operations for Churchill Downs, as well as the athletic programs at the University of Arkansas, Auburn University, and the University of Louisville.

A passionate chef and natural host, Tim found joy in nourishing others - whether through his restaurants, his participation in cooking competitions, or the countless meals he lovingly prepared for family and friends. He was a devoted husband and father, whose greatest pride was his family. He loved spending time on the golf course with his son, Alex, and treasured his special "Daddy-Daughter Days" with Addy.

Tim's warmth, generosity, and larger-than-life spirit touched all who knew him. His legacy lives on through his family, his friendships, and the many lives he enriched through his kindness and his craft.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Game Restaurant in Louisville.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Apron Inc. in Louisville, which provides hardship grants to members of the hospitality
