Timothy R. "Tim" Moore, 77, of Morton passed away at his home on Friday, March 27, 2026. Tim was born on September 25, 1948, in Pekin, the son of the late Albert and Mary (Stewart) Moore. Tim proudly served our country during Vietnam in the United States Army from 1967-1970. After serving, married Barb Schuber on February 1, 1972, in Peoria. Tim worked for many years as an IT specialist for Caterpillar. He was an active volunteer for the Greater Peoria Area Honor Flight having participated in an honor flight himself in 2015. He was season ticket holder for Bradley University Basketball for over 50 years, he most of all loved to watch all his grandchildren's sporting events over the years.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Barb Moore of Morton, his children Pat (Robin) Moore of Bartonville, and Shannon (Dan) Reed of Washington, his grandchildren Mikayla Moore, Micah Alleman, Alex Moore, and Tanner Alleman, four bonus grandchildren: Trevor, Grant, and Audrey Reed, and James Lukehart, his sister Lana (Louie) Dalton of Morton, as well as several nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

To honor Tim's wishes cremation rites will be accorded. The family will receive guests at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington on Friday, April 3, from 4-6 pm. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home with military rites being accorded immediately following the visitation.

Those who wish may leave memorials in Tim's name to the Greater Peoria Area Honor Flight.
