Timothy M. "Tim" Nichols

Timothy "Tim" M. Nichols, 59 of Hopewell, died, Monday, February 14, 2022, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center following a sudden illness. He was born Tuesday, November 13, 1962, in Columbus, the son of Dean E. Nichols and Carolyn D. (Kayner) Nichols. He married Marie (Drake) Nichols on Saturday, July 5, 1986.
Tim was a member of Newark Baptist Temple, where he sang in the choir and worked the sound system. He was a Plant Chemist for Clean Harbors, and enjoyed repairing automobiles and working on computers in his spare time.
In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by his wife: Marie Nichols of Hopewell, two children; one sister: Suzanne & Jim Sushereba of Hopewell and eight nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, February 18, 2022, at Newark Baptist Temple, 81 Licking View Drive, Heath, Ohio, and one hour prior to services from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday at the church. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the church with Pastor Mark Falls officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Fork Cemetery. Due to a family allergy in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church in Tim's memory.
