Timothy W. Presbrey, 76, a lifelong resident of Aurora, IL passed away on January 14, 2025. He was born on March 3, 1948 in Aurora, IL the son of James and Pauline (Newton) Presbrey. Tim graduated from East Aurora High School in 1967. He went on to work for ComEd and retired after over 30 years of service. Tim stayed loyal to his roots and spent many years as an active member of the East Aurora Sports Boosters. He was always a proud Tomcat and was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his commitment and dedication. He loved the game of football and was a diehard Chicago Bears fan. He was an all-around good guy who had a sharp sense of humor and who could be a bit stubborn at times. Above all things, he loved time spent with family. He is survived by his sons; Rob, Brian (Kristy) and David Presbrey; grandchildren, Cody (Ophelia) Presbrey, Tyler and Tim Presbrey, Alyssa Rogers, Jordon Wilkinson, Tanner and Brili Presbrey, Keyara Wilkinson, Arianna Presbrey and Saje Presbrey; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Cindy (the late Gary) Bell and Sandy (Mike) Bohr. He is preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of life will be held and details will be available in the upcoming days.
