Timothy John Ryan "Tim" "Pa" Was Born February 24, 1951 and Passed Away March 30, 2025 in Chicago, IL., at the age of 74. He was born to the late Timothy and late Kathleen (nee Lydon) Ryan. Lifelong Canaryville resident and parishioner of St. Gabriel Church. Raised in true Irish Catholic faith alongside his cherished brother Terrence Ryan (Fang nee Xie).
Dearest father of Timothy Ryan (Deanna nee Oster), Colleen Ryan, Angel and Cheyenne Otis; loving grandfather of Joanna, Trinity, Kaitlin, Emily Ryan, Dylan, Edward, and Tevin Jones; beloved great-grandfather of Theodore Jones and Oliver Ryan; dear uncle and great uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Timothy was a devout Catholic who valued his family, faith, and friends dearly.
He graduated from St. Gabriel Grammer School where he was on the football team. He then graduated from Leo High School and was on the football and swim team. Tim later went to Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated with his bachelor's degree in accounting.
Tim was a true family man and cherished time spent with them. He enjoyed playing catch with his children and grandchildren and taking walks around the neighborhood. You could always count on him attending his children's and grandchildren's school functions. He liked to watch tv, including football, baseball, movies, and crime shows. Tim was also a passionate dog lover and treasured his pets throughout his life. Tim will always be remembered for his kind heart and dedication to his family and faith.
The family will receive friends at McInerney Central Chapel, located at 4635 S Wallace Street, Chicago, IL. on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until time of chapel prayers at 11:15 a.m. to St. Gabriel Church, 600 West 45th Street for a Mass of the Resurrection 12:00 Noon. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth, IL.
