Timothy Arndre Thomas

On Monday, December 9, 2024, God in his infinite wisdom and divine love, dispatched one of his angels to peacefully claim our father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, Timonthy Arndre Thomas at his home. "Tim", as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, was born on December 11, 1969, in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, to the late Alma D. Thomas and Margaret A. Winston.
Timothy attended Warwick High School in Newport News, VA. He was employed at LARS Group Inc. until his health declined.
Timothy truly loved his family, friends, and working on cars. If you needed help, Tim was there to help in any way he could. He and his wife of twenty-seven years, Teresa Thomas enjoyed traveling together to various vacation spots. Timothy loved having a good time and being surrounded by family. That is one of the many things we're going to miss about him. He was a devoted father to his son Timothy Flood and stepsons, James Flood and William Flood. Timothy was one of the most loving men you would ever want to meet. To know him was to love him.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Marcus Thomas and Craig Davis.
He leaves to cherish precious memories his wife Teresa Thomas; son Timothy Flood of Norfolk, VA; two stepsons, William Flood and James Flood, both of Newport News, VA; ten grandchildren; three brothers, Lawrence Thomas, Gregory Thomas, and Samuel Davis, all of Newport News, VA; three sisters, Alma Thomas and Sherrelle Thomas-Mills (Robert), both of Newport News, VA, and Sherell Robinson of East Orange, NJ; ten aunts, Audrey Tynes, Vivian Cornick, Janice Hite, and Paula Coston (Larry), all of Hampton, VA, Regina Davis of Norfolk, VA, Margaret Davis and Tomeka Davis, both of Newport News, VA, Harriet Tatum of Portsmouth, VA, Sharon Ruffin (Tony) of Suffolk, VA, and Peggy Hamlin (Alvin) of Chuckatuck, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate Timothy's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2024, at Colossian Baptist Church, Newport News, VA, with a viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
