Timothy M. Wert

MILLERSBURG- Timothy Wert, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026 at the age of 74. He was born on April 10, 1951 and lived in Millersburg, PA for most of his life.

He was a hard working man who always provided for his family, driving truck first for St Johnsbury and then finishing his career at ABF trucking. He prided himself in driving over a million miles accident free.

He is survived by his children Michael S (Lynnee) Wert of Danville, PA, Stephanie L (Mark) Harris of Millersburg, PA, Chad A Wert of Millersburg PA, Tanesha M Black of Hershey, PA, Jillian A (Mikey) Wert-Paul of Millersburg, PA, Aaliyah M Black of Elizabethville, PA; and his grandchildren Kayla L (Branden), Sara (Steven), Brynley, Avelyn, Maya, Isaiah, Jenica, William Jr, Jeremiah, Devon, and David.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Clarence and Margaret Wert, and his brother Dave Wert. He was married to Devon Wert for 46 years until her passing in 2018.

He was a member of Reigles Bible Fellowship for many years. He loved traveling and befriended everyone he came across. After retirement, he could be found taking walks by the river or eating breakfast and talking to everyone for hours at the local diner.

We are saddened by his passing, but are grateful for the time we had and that he is at peace with his Savior.

Celebration of Life will be held at Reigles Bible Fellowship on March 21st, per Tim's request there will not be a viewing. Services start at 10am and a light meal after for fellowship.
