With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Tina L. Curcio. She left this world on May 7, 2025, surrounded by the family she so fiercely loved. She was 73 years old. Born in Round Lake, NY on March 20, 1952, Tina was the cherished daughter of the late Lester and Althea "Ethel" (Russell) DeGroff. From the beginning, Tina's life was rooted in kindness, humor, and an unshakable devotion to others.
Tina's generosity knew no bounds. She freely gave of her time, heart, and energy, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Tina was the cornerstone of her family-the one everyone turned to in times of joy and need. She helped raise multiple generations of loved ones with patience, humor, and unwavering love.
Her easygoing nature and warm wit made people feel instantly at home. Her smile was infectious, and her presence brought comfort, light, and a sense of belonging wherever she went.
Over the years, Tina worked in retail, real estate, and restaurants, bringing heart, humor, and dedication to every role, but her true passions were found at home. She was an incredible cook and baker whose kitchen was always filled with delicious smells and open arms. Her love for arts and crafts allowed her to create beauty in even the smallest things.
Tina was also a fierce animal lover. She never met a stray she didn't try to rescue, and her home was a haven for countless animals. Her compassion extended to every living being - human or otherwise - and her gentle, nurturing spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Curcio; her daughter, Trisha (Leo) Munoz; her son, Tom (Holly) Curcio; and her adored grandsons, Brodey and Tyler Curcio. She is also remembered lovingly by extended family and friends, all touched by her kindness. Tina is now reunited with her parents and her beloved brother, Trent DeGroff.
Tina's life will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa, NY. The family welcomes flowers or, if preferred, donations to Saratoga County Animal Shelter or to support the Glioblastoma Foundation in Tina's name.
Tina's love was boundless, her laughter unforgettable, and her presence irreplaceable. She will be missed more than words can say - but the love she gave lives on in each of us.

It´s 1968 and I watch a young happy couple disappear down Route 9 in a Chevelle. Years pass by with their predicable highs and lows.
The worst happens, and Joe cares tirelessly and with love for his wife Tina. Some years from now in Gods glorious Heaven guess who´s waiting in the passenger seat of that Chevelle for her life´s partner.
