Hawkins Funeral Homes - BridgeportTina Jennings, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in Decatur, Texas, leaving behind a legacy that will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
A memorial service to celebrate Tina’s life will be held at First Baptist Church in Alvord, located at 205 E. Boling St, Alvord, Texas, on November 1, 2025, starting at 1:00 p.m.
Born on January 1, 1961, Tina was a spirited soul who grew up as a cowgirl, embodying the free and adventurous spirit of Texas. Her love for rodeoing was a reflection of her vibrant personality and her passion for life. She carried that enthusiasm into her professional life, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Weatherford College, and dedicating her career to Bridgeport Equipment Services with unwavering commitment and integrity.
Tina's spirit was as vibrant as the Texas skies under which she grew up as a cowgirl. Her adventurous soul, she carried this passion into various endeavors, including fishing, scuba diving, and dancing. To Tina, life was about making memories, and she found the greatest joy in surrounding herself with her family and friends, creating a tapestry of experiences filled with warmth and laughter.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Rodney Jennings, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Her legacy continues through their children: Justin and his wife Joanna Sales, Austin Sales, Devon and his wife Minga, Katlyn Jennings, Brandy Jennings, and Rodney Jennings, Jr. Each of them carries a piece of Tina's spirit within them, reminding all of us of her kindness and love.
Tina also cherished her role as a grandmother, leaving behind 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored deeply. Her gentle guidance and playful nature will be missed, but her love will forever live on in their hearts.
As we remember Tina, we celebrate a life filled with adventure, love, and laughter. She will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched, her spirit continuing to inspire all who knew her.
