63, of Cottrellville Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at McLaren Port Huron Hospital
She was born in St. Clair, Michigan on February 17, 1959, the daughter of the late Clark VanDeWarker and Sally (Bond) Hendrick.
Tina loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit her sister and having card nights. She was strong in her faith and went to church often. Tina liked shopping at thrift stores like the salvation army. She loved her dogs, Sadie and Brutus.
She is survived by her two children, Brenda (Scott) Smith-Hall and Brandon Smith both of Marine City; grandchildren, Haylee, Lexi, Brianna, Milo, Ryan, and Camrin; siblings, Debora (Queen Debbie) Bennett of Port Huron, Cindy Fults of Memphis, and Vickie (Paul) Auger of Florida; nieces and nephews, Tarilynn (Sam) Ventimiglia, Mark Bennett, Michael Bennett, Michelle (Tommy) Brooks, Corrie (Nathan) Churchill, Kristina (Gerry) Zalewski, Steve Zalewski, Jessica (Chris) Zalewski, and Kaleb Danneels; many great-nieces and nephews; as well as her best friend, Joan Schuyler.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Noah Furtah Jr.
A gathering and viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial-Bower Rose Funeral Home, 222 N. Main Street, Marine City, MI 48039. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. and will be officiated by Pastor Joan Fallon.
