Adam Joseph VanDeWarker came into this world on October 7th,1981 (which we all know is the best month of the year). He was born to Donald Lee VanDeWarker & Linda Lee Simon in California. As a little boy he loved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, nature, riding horses, singing oldies, and playing at the beach...he always had a lot of energy.
Sometimes his big sister would talk him into playing with her Jem dolls and he with his GI Joe dolls. He was a good sport. Adam had a big forgiving heart. He loved animals and he had blue prints for his future home/zoo he would one day own. He had beautiful crystal blue eyes and the longest lashes.
Everyone that knew Adam knew of his beautiful singing voice and thankfully we still have a few recorded songs by him. He had a passion for karaoke and loved country music & hiphop. Music meant a lot to him....it seemed to ease his pain.
He created two stunning, fierce, brilliant daughters, Jozelle Ariyana VanDeWarker & Jazlynn Marshall. He would sometimes call Jozelle just to hear her voice. He loved singing to his daughters.
We will not sugar coat his life, it was hard. He struggled with mental illness, addiction and stable shelter. He truly wanted to heal and connect with people. He saw most of this country side and he truly saw the good in people. On October 8th, 2022 he left this earth after sustaining injuries from a fall in Columbus, Ohio.
He is survived by his parents, Linda Lee Rodrigues (Simon) & Donald Lee Hernes (VanDeWarker) and his sister from this marriage, Catherine Elliot Dillon (VanDeWarker). He is also survived by his siblings from other marriages: Raylin Marie Gomen (Mitchell), Mercedes Justine Schmidt, Denyeill Marie VanDeWarker, Dawn Rachel VanDeWarker, & Montana Cheyenne VanDeWarker.
Adam would always say: "blood is thicker than water, but love is thicker than blood."
