Tito H. Hernandez, age 86, left this life on September 10, 2025 in Kermit. He was born on February 2, 1939 to Antonio and Hermenia (Hernandez) Hernandez in Del Rio, TX. Tito married Juana Hernandez on December 2, 1961 in Kermit and they shared almost 63 wonderful years together.

Tito graduated from Wink in 1959. During his high school years, he was a very active athlete. He enjoyed playing golf, dancing and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. Tito was very active with the Knights of Columbus where he was a 4th degree Charter Member holding the titles of Grand Knight and Financial Secretary. In the community of Kermit, Tito, served on the Hospital Board for the Winkler County Memorial Hospital. He was a devoted father, husband, and grandfather or "Pappaw", his special nickname. He will be dearly missed.

Tito worked in the oilfield during the summer breaks of school since the age of 16 yrs. He continued on after college and married. He worked on the oil rigs and later went to work as a pump repairman and salesman for Bethlehem Steel. He then was hired as a pump repairman for Republic Supply being promoted to sales and later management positions. He later worked at Union Supply, Wilson Supply, and finally ended up at Adkin Supply where he retired. He was thought of fondly by his employees and all the people he worked with through-out the years.

He is survived by his wife: Juana Hernandez of Kermit, TX; daughters: Yvonne H. Bejarano and husband Joe of Odessa, Tx and Ann Cecilia Hernandez Baeza and husband Carlos of Hobbs, NM; brother: Mauricio Hernandez and wife Celia of Grandfalls, TX; sister: Nora Hernandez Andrade and husband Serapio of Boulder City, NV; grandchildren: Monika, Karla, J.T., and Christian; and great-grandchildren: Aiyana, Izaiah, Aracely and fiancé Hector Molina, and Fox; and soon to be born great-great-grandchild: Kylena Molina.

Tito was preceded in death by his parents: Antonio and Minnie Hernandez; and brother: Harry Hernandez.

Visitation will begin at 1 pm on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Family Services Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 7 pm at Family Services Funeral Parlor in Kermit. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at St. Thomas St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kermit. Burial will follow at Kermit Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ervy Pineda, Alonzo Urquidi, Ricky Morales, Sammy Hernandez, Izaiah Botello, J.T. Bejarano, Christian Bejarano, and Hector Molina. Honorary pallbearers are David Martinez, Carlos Baeza.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to the Knights of Columbus Scholarship Fund.
