Tod Patrick Schmidt, 66 of Graytown, OH passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025 at Stein Hospice Center, Sandusky, OH surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 13, 1958 in Toledo, OH to the late James and Phyllis (Hill) Schmidt. Tod graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1977 after attending Penta Career Center, where he played basketball and ran track.
Tod then went into masonry and worked as a cement mason until his retirement in 2018. He spent the majority of career as a very loyal and hard-working employee of Celek Brothers Masonry, to whom Tod was forever grateful.

Tods love for his daughters, grandchildren family and friends were immeasurable. He adored his daughters Stephanie (Brent) Lowry and Brittany (Devin) Jones. He loved being Poppy to Addison, Brooke, Addie, Kinsley, Mason, and Chloe. He is also survived by brothers Tom, Jay, and Lynn Schmidt and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Kathleen, and brother Mike.
Family and friends are invited to attend Graveside Service at 11am on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, OH.
