Todd William Benner, 68, of Montoursville, passed at Geisinger Danville on August 3, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Danville, a son to the late Robert Eugene and Jane Cyrene (Hottenstein) Benner.
An avid musician, Todd was a choir director and played organ and piano. He was last employed at Trinity United Methodist Church in Jersey Shore. In addition to his passion for music he also enjoyed cooking and the beach.
He is survived by his long-time companion, Javier Francisco Limon Aguilera of Montoursville; sister, Tracy (Edward) Mertes of Williamsport; brother Mark (Debra) Benner of Shamokin Dam; nieces and nephews, Josh (Kara) Herb, Matt Benner, and Michelle (Michael) Yaw, Kim and Jane Mertes; great-nieces and nephews Brooklynn, Beckett, Klane, Eliana, and Vivi; special friends, Felipe Limon and Irma Gutierrez of Salisbury, MD, Oralia and Danilo Menendez of Millsboro, DE; and their children, Kayla, Jair, Joel, Daniel, Juan, Martha, Maggie, and Christina; and Todd's beloved dog, Rosie.
The family will receive friends and family on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 10 to 11:00 am at the Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport PA 17701
A funeral service will be held at 11:15am on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Christ Episcopal Church, 426 Mulberry St., Williamsport PA 17701 with rector, Rev. Kyle Murphy officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Todd's name may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 426 Mulberry St., Williamsport PA 17701.
