Todd H. Brunelle

Todd H. Brunelle, 48 of Worcester, passed away peacefully in his home with his loving family by his side on Monday, October 23, 2023.
Todd will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Christina (Chionchio) Brunelle; two daughters, Riley Brunelle and Reaghan Brunelle both of Leicester; Christina's children, James Fleming and Samantha Swett both of Worcester; his mother, Linda M. (Brassard) Brunelle of Cherry Valley; a sister, Keri Brunelle of Cherry Valley; a niece, Charli Brunelle; many friends and extended family members. He is predeceased by his father, Henri Brunelle.
Todd was born on February 6, 1975 in Worcester where he graduated from Holy Name Central Catholic High School and has resided throughout his life. After graduation he began work at his family business, Mid-State Snacks of Cherry Valley in sales and delivery where he affectionately acquired the nickname "Chips". Throughout his career he made many friends and always looked forward to seeing his customers on his daily routes. Todd also worked as a bartender for nearly 20 years at Breen's Cafe in Worcester. Additionally, Todd coached football for the Worcester Vikings, then moved on to become a referee for the Central Mass Conference of Football Officials (CMCFO). Todd's love for the game and coaching was still evident as he continued to coach players on the field during games to lead them to become better players.
Todd's time outside of work was spent with family and friends where he loved to host gatherings outside on his prided patio. He loved to travel on family vacations near and far. Todd spent many summers in Rhode Island where he and his family had camps. He loved to spend days at Dog Beach and watch the boats come in and out of the canal at Point Judith. Todd's favorite pastime for many years was attending his girls' academic and sporting events. You could always find him behind center field cheering on the team. He was a giving, kind and loving family man and friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 4-7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. His funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 31st at 11:00 am in St. John's Church, 40 Temple St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
