Todd J. Couper

Todd J. Couper, 56 years old, passed away suddenly on October 24th, 2024. He was born in Denver, May 12, 1968 to William Gregory Couper and Terry (Cook) Woodward.
As the son of longtime United Airlines employees, Todd grew up in many locations, including Illinois, Michigan and California. He attended Jacobs High School in Algonquin, and graduated from Half Moon Bay High School. He was a graduate of Columbia College, Chicago, and had a long and rewarding career in aviation, including 14 years at United Airlines.
Todd's company was valued by his family and a vast number of friends, all of whom enjoyed his kind, generous, fun-seeking personality. He was an involved, loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle, friend. He was also a fine chef, talented artist, and a voracious reader, who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Devoted husband of Kim (Wilkinson) for 22 years. Proud father of Reid, Jake and Eric. Treasured brother of Tiffany Huffman (Ronald), Morgen Couper, Erin Nierenkoether, Samantha Jayakumar (Jit). Loving son of Terry (Cook) Woodward (Scott). Step-son of Kathryn (Hetherington) Couper. Son-in-law of Timothy Schneckloth and Joanne Wilkinson. Preceded in death by his father, William Gregory Couper.
Todd spent time volunteering his time and graphic art skills to many organizations over the years, including Special Gifts Theatre, Ebinger Men's Club, Notre Dame College Prep Men's Club and Edison Park Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 29th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, prayer service at 7:00 pm, at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge, IL. A private family interment will follow.
